Matrix System approaches Quality Management from a holistic point of view, within this approach we include Quality Planning, Quality Assurance and Quality Control as a means of reaching Quality Management.
Quality Planning incorporates the need to identify and document standards and procedures. The Quality Plan we develop for clients defines a quality program’s strategic direction and serves as a blueprint for upcoming improvement activities for the program. The Quality Management Plan outlines the basic areas: Quality statement, Quality improvement, Quality Plan Implementation, Performance measurement, Annual quality goals, Participation of stakeholders, Evaluation, Capacity Building, the Process to update the Plan, and Communication. From a practical standpoint Quality Management is achieved via Quality Assurance which comes under our IV&V process. Quality Planning is the portion of our approach in which we identify and document standards, Quality Assurance is the action of Quality Management which validates against the standards defined under Quality Planning and Quality Control identifys those standards as a means to control and sustainment of all the quality standards Through our Quality Management approach, quality procedures and best practices are reviewed during each stage of an implementation. We evaluate and make recommendations on the project’s Quality Assurance plans, procedures, and organizations to maximize the probability of successful deployment of each of system while surfacing issues as early as possible and making mitigation recommendations. Organizations recognize the benefit of Matrix Systems Quality Management approach through the preparation of the project quality plans. These plans establish a means for tracking software quality, Quality Control procedures, Quality Assurance teams organization and independence, and Quality Assurance reporting protocol all which aid in the overall management process.
